I have the same or a similar problem to Nia. My lime wire program does not open at all too! I had installed Limewire-Pro previously (3.8 I think) and it worked fine until i shut down my computer. The next time i switched it on LW could not open. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I even tried installing the basic limewire, but it didn't work either. So i left it alone until the new limewire came out and i installed that one. But i am still having the same problems. I checked my firewalls and connection thingys and followed the steps recommended by LW but it still doesn't work...What can I do??!! HELP!!
I use Windows XP.
