I think you have missed an essential point I was making in my first post, although it's my fault for not putting enough emphasis on it:

I now believe your NAV2005 is reacting to those "computer companies" trying to sneak into your PC while you are using LW. I
strongly suggest that you get PeerGuardian 2, which should stop the annoying Nortons pop-ups and sneak attacks on your PC.
