Multiple PCs running LW through same NAT router? I've got two PCs: an uber-tower that's up 100% of the time and a laptop that's up periodically. Limewire runs on the tower constantly and is a well-connected Ultrapeer.
Through UPnP, the tower has punched through the appropriate forwarding ports to allow direct peering to other LW users. If I bring up the laptop, it also talks to my NETGEAR WGT624 via UPnP and overwrites the port forwarding info for my tower. This is not preferable.
What's the recommended way of running LW on >1 PC through a NAT/firewall router? Should I simply change the default listening port on the laptop? Is there any way I can direct my laptop to take advantage of the 24/7 tower PC being an Ultrapeer?
Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions. |
