If you plan on doing what Dagam3 suggests then it would be best if you go to this site and download the free program that allows you to view movies that have a separate subtitle file.

All you need to do is open both the movie and the subtitle file, click on Preview Only and play the movie. The subtitles will automatically appear in the movie.
