Your registry probably needs a good clean out.

May I suggest you do these things:

1. Downld the Java installer to your computer, then install it (don't install Java over the net!) Find it here: Java 1.5 (take the JRE) - click on link

2. Downld 'Other' version of LW & unzip it: See Here about "Other" version (click on link) http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml
