I am not suggesting "leave it alone" I Love improvement and innovation. I know about the expansive issue of different equipment, software, etc that programers face when trying to improve a product. I deal everyday with industry-specific software that has the same issues...fix one thing, break something else. I just make the request to them - as I do here- don't break those things that we have to use 100% of the time.
I do marvel at the ability of these types of products to work with such a variety of equipment and software and level of knowledge of the individual.
That being said....I still want it to work. I spend too much time trying to get connected...I only have so much free time to do this activity and I want to make the most of that time. When the product works fine and then an upgrade comes along and then it doesn't work fine....to me that is an issue. I know it's "job security" for those that create the program...but eventually you will abandon a product that doesn't respond in the manner in which you expect it to. |
