It really doesn't matter what your upload speed is because whoever is uploading from you is probably uploading from other sharers too and so their speed would be faster than what you are showing. So you are helping the network.

I don't know anything about skins, I'm happy with the default one. You can use the search feature(upper right of this page bettween f.a.q. and home) if you want to find info about skins.

If they don't have chat enabeled you won't be able to chat, also if they are away from their pc you won't get a response. I think the chat in LW is iffy at best and I don't use it. You can also do a search on chat if you want more info. Good luck.
