Your problem, you should not need to convert any files to get them onto iPod. Not unless they're in RealPlayer or WMA format or something. iPod will play mp3, m4a, aiff, apple lossless, wav. Learning how to use your iPod is 1st & foremost. Like anything of that nature you buy. You should learn how to use it. We even provide easy samples on the forum to show how to get music onto iPod.
