Hi Grandpa
I have talked to a couple of Computer Technitions I know, They said the Ram could overheat, If It was set to the wrong Voltage in the Bios, the've never come across it overheating for being faulty (I Bought them a beer for this?, Knew That already)
I had them look at the specs for this computer
They said they could see nothing wrong with it
Everything seems to be within the normal ranges it should be
They said it could be the hardware drivers conflicting with each other The Abbit K7s were really bad for it, The drivers had to be installed in a Certain order or you Got all sorts of problems Ie BSD or the computer restarting itself for no apparent reason
Another Possiblity was that a program on the computer had not shut itself down properly and was conflicting with another one trying to use the same part of the memory, so the computer shuts itself down for protection
