Do a contol-alt-delete & bring up Task Manager, if you see LW listed, stop it. Normally you'd go to Start menu>Programs>Limewire>Uninstall. That's the way to remove LW properly. Else go the the LW program folder & look for the uninstaller.

BTW You paid for a scam version of LW. You should see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...5&pagenumber=1
You did not purchase from the official site so thus, you paid for the LW basic version which is FREE from here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

With a scam version you don't know what you might have ended up with. It could have virii, adware, spyware, etc.
