Then re-install your Java. Get this Java http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...update142.html & if it refuses to reinstall, go to your Receipts folder & remove the Java142Update2.pkg from the receipts folder.
ie: go to OSX folder>Library>Receipts
Then try installing it again. This is generally the fix for your problem. See sample image of where to find here: Where to find Receipts folder (click on link)
