Sorry to say I don't have a solution, but I do have the SAME problem!! It also started when I updated to version 4.9.28. I've installed & reinstalled so many times I've lost count. I'm not sure what version I had prior to that, but it worked perfectly!! Now I just get the splash screen (opening LW) and it just hangs there(loading user interface) FOREVER! My whole computer freezes up. I GIVE UP
