LimeWire is a fairly memory intinsive program and like most java programs requires quite a bit of resorces to opperate if there is a weak link in your OS it will probally show up when running LW. If it were me I would reformat but I reformat about every 4 months anyway. It keeps my machine at top preformance. I do allot of benhmark testing and you would be suprised how much your preformance drops with time.
