i thought this might help you too, when burning a dvd a lot people make the mistake of thinking that if the disc is 8x speed that you can burn at this well ist not good the dvd disc can overburn and become a failure if your discs are 8x speed then burn at 6x or 4x i usually use 16x speed disc but only burn at 8x or if i use 8x speed discs i burn at 4x this way you will always get a good burn. i recall you saying that you said you went to your vcd folder the films was there but u couldnt find it when trying to burn. i was wondering if u actually know that when converting files, they default save in my documents in a folder called disk0. it creates this folder as it is converting this is where the new file will be. remember that it does not actually overwrite the file u convert, it makes a new file to the formatt u choose in the folder i said above ( disc0) i hope this may solve your problems its always worth a try. keep me informed and il keep trying to help u with this or any other problems u have.
