Running Limewire on my steam-driven PC makes using other software veeeeery slow. How about a "screensaver" version? Instead of doing searches immediately, it could wait for the PC's workload to drop, just like a screensaver, and searches and uploads only when there's no other activity on the PC?
That way, all of us "office types" could start Limewire when we get to work in the morning, and set up some searches that happen while we're away from our PCs. When we get back, we would be informed about successful searches, and given the option to download immediately, or later, via the screensaver, when we're on yet another coffee break.
That way we can get on with our work with a clear conscience, knowing that our downloading only happens when we're not busy on the PC - and the boss will be happier, too!
The Limewire Active Screensaver sounds like a great idea to me - but I guess I'm biased. What do you think?
