There's really not much difference, other than giving LW a few bucks to help them continue developing the gnutella network. That's well-worthwhile.
The devs tweaked the settings to allow downloading from a few more sources (if found); connecting to a few more ultrapeers if you're running as a leaf (searches go a bit further, thus helping find more/better sources); not getting the nag about Pro; and probably a few other minor settings that may change from version to version.
For OS X users especially, it's good to get Pro, since our bucks keep reminding LW that we appreciate their efforts, even though Apple's java support makes it frustrating for LW to keep developing for the Mac.
