Just one dumb question what did you pay for LimeWire basic is free and Pro cost $18.88 for Pro and 6 months of free upgrades. Just guessing here and you didn't mention it but your post sounds like you might be one of the many that have gotten LimeWire from one of those scam sites that sell you a lifetime membership to a free product.
