Try removing the 4.9.30 from your start up disc ... I advise you to keep it safe somewhere unless you still have the dmg installer, in which case you can delete it,(you may want to come back to it) and then the 4.9.33 will have to install! There may possibly be a java issue and I am not familiar with Tiger, but the suggestion I made can do no harm ... so see what happens!
