as limewire always says: "no comment"
but actually, we are not profiting from anything. we only get a reason to smile when someone downloads the software.
We are not on any 'one' side except providing Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). however
we do not condone any such illegal acts that occur or arise from the use of the software, as this software was designed to create an easy way to publish the content you are given authority to. but, unlike LimeWire LLC that may be adding DRM to the client, we give YOU, the user the free choice. We will not force you to make your content available only under CC or WeedShare licensing. You Choose!
to take a step further, they would not beable to successfully sue the project.. we are not a buisness, we do not profit or recieve any revenue or income from the software or of the use of the software which is produced. we also do not condone, imply or 'induce' any illegal use of the software. (we highly frown upon it actually). but we (the developers) should not beable to control the content of the network. that control and choice should given and made freely to the user and the copyright holder.
these are my opinions and may not be of the same opinions by others.
...peace, im out *acts all cool and walks away*
