Your following question does display a misunderstanding of how things work in the modern world.

6 Pac is quite right when he says internet traffic could slow down during the day because businesses use the internet as well, not just home users. And if you can imagine that businesses include banks, international institutions, governments, etc. you can now get a flavour of what is happening 24/7.

Home users tend to add extra strain to the internet on the weekends and some evenings.
