Here's the reason I asked. Limewire pro costs $18.88 and is only available from
www.limewire.com. Basic Limewire is also available there at no charge. If you payed any other amount you have bought a scam version of Limewire, you cannot get support from Limewire, and it is quite possible that your version has been doctored in some way.
