Not necessarily an encyclopedia, for there are all types of pages using wiki-software, but it catches the spirit and teh wikipedia is the most well know wiki.
Some people also write collaborative stories on wikis, or discuss strategy or similar, sometimes limited to a local LAN.
But the spirit is: Every visitor can change the content of pages, with the least possible barriers. |
