There are some odd instances where some people can find their own files in searches. I am aware of a few people who can do this. I can't do it on my set up. This is not supposed to happen where you find your own files in searches. And this is the 1st time I've heard of it happening with direct connect searches.

BTW does their or your ip address start with 192 or 10? These are generally LAN addresses & normally direct connect won't work with them (however you can browse them.) Now that is very odd! I'm not sure of any solution to this. Just to be sure you're not firewalled, you can do a simple test. Do it after LW's been open at least 15 mins. Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If true then you're fine. If false, then something is at least partially blocking uploads & incoming searches & possibly more.
