Tiger was using 1.4.2-09 before the latest update. no 1 son updated and his powerbook slowed right down ..I don't know the full details or if it includes a java update

no 2 son therefore did not update and LW etc is fine.

So the latest Tiger update might not be wise until there are more details.

Please let us know if LOTRs link was any use.
