That was quick! How about Aquisition? Sorry ignore that it's not os 9 compatible.

I don't suppose you've considered upgrading to osx

OK back to LW, can you tell us about your option settings under Tools? Have you enabled or disabled Compression & locale preferencing? Do you allow simultaneous searches.
