I clicked on that first link in the body of your message and found that it was the same steps I have been taking all along. But I still cannot find a "Windows Firewall Options" button. It must be located somewhere else because when I get to that point, the page Im on doesnt have that button anywhere. But I did follow all the steps thereafter, added both the items as instructed, made sure they had checkmarks next to them, etc.
Still no progress. It still tells me "Enabling Open Information Sharing..." forever and ever.

Hmmm...
