Do you mean when you copy from a CD or download from LimeWire?

If it's the latter, try restoring the sharing options in the options/saving tab back to default. You'll then need to make sure you are sharing the tracks. This can be done by going to tools/options/sharing and sharing the folder you are downloading the tracks into.
