Hi., I sometimes have the same problem. What I do is go to Control Panel >Network Connections > Modems and when the connection opens up, disable the windows firewall. It will give you a danger message but disable it anyway. Go ahead and try to connect Limewire, it should connect now, then go back to Network Connections and turn the firewall back on.
