I like GNOTELLA (unlike that weird guy who said it was cr*p, even though he sounded like he would not know what a network packet was if it jumped out of his computer and bonked him in his head)
However (there's always a however
), I'm having speed issues. I'm only running Win98 on this box but it is a 350 mhz and 64Mb ram (I know I need more but then who doesn't) and when I run GNOTELLA 0.73 or .70 my system goes WAAAAYYY slow.
Is there any way to run it at a lower priority like I can in W2000 or WNT? That would probably help enough so I can keep it running without killing my performance on other work.
Also I'm attempting to download 6 seperate files right now and not one has even started. Most common message is Requesting Push. Is this normal or should I be looking at some settings on my software?
I'm DSL with static IP.
Thanks,
Don
