I may have a solution for your undeletable file with a long name:

First, copy everything out of your target directory/folder, except the undeletable file, to a new directory/folder.

Second, delete the entire target directory/folder. This process will get rid of most undeletable files.

Third, rename your new folder, with the copied files, to the same name of the folder you have just deleted, that way everything on your PC's HD will be back to normal.

As for files on the P2P network with wrong names, well that is the nature of the beast because no one can stop you, me or anyone else renaming our files with false names. I hate as much as you do but I am afraid we are stuck with it.
