Multiple Billings We're certainly not trying to trick anyone into purchasing more than once - the user gets angry, we get nasty phone calls and big chargeback fees... What we are doing is implementing more stringent parameters for card acceptance to cut back on fraudulent purchases.
If you're using a bank card, the charges will show up for a while even when the charge was automatically voided on our end - which is what happens when the card info isn't cleared by VeriSign, our payment processor.
The charges should, however, disappear as the void reaches your bank. If they don't, please get in touch with Lime Wire - our number will be posted next to your bank statement, and it's a simple matter for our billing department to look at charges to your card, see what's going on and fix any lingering issues. |
