Can someone tell me - when did "acquiring a license" become a part of the limewire experience? Everything i download now, after I launch it, asks if I want to acquire a license.

Is there a way around this? Why download something using limewire if you're going to have to pay for it? You may as well go directly to the source?

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
