in WMP your library is nothing but a bunch of links to where the tunes reside on your computer...if you move the files, then WMP won't be able to access them any longer...

its pretty easy to add songs to your WMP library, just hit the library tab, and start dragging and dropping files into the GUI...or choose file>add to library...
