Not at all!!

If you use Mac Yes and afaik, this will work in Windows too on later versions. options or preferences > itunes > Itunes importing > enable > apply.
This should import tunes and automatically creates^^^a play list called "Limewire" which will transfer on to your ipod^^^^"BLACK996LOVER's limewire tunes" will show if you are sharing ^^^ but will not go on your iPod. I hope I have this right as this is what happens in Mac

EDIT I inserted bit between ^^s as I seem to have messed this up! sorry!
