My download speed was 344.6 KB/sec, upload 48.2 KB/sec. After some further research, my isp is one of the "unfriendlys". I have read the post on using a static IP address with my router and using a proxy. I will print out the instructions and give it a try(hopefully very simple instructions - I can use a computer, but making them work is waaay beyond me) .
