I have found when a download is slow to search again for the exact file name again. You might need to go to the connection tab and remove a host or two so that LimeWire will connect to new hosts. This will enable you to view new hosts. Make sure that the host that LimeWire is connecting to has several hosts. Then do a search again for the exact file name you are currently downloading. Pick a new host to download from, kill your current download and try it with the new host. The nice thing is that your download will pick up where it left off (only if you are downloading the exact same file name). You need to work at this to get the right host to download from. Once you have the right host, go back to the connection tab and lower your connections to 1 and remove all but one host. This will enable your bandwith to be optimized for your download. Also, you need to share at least 5 files because many host will not alow you to download if you do not share! Me included!
