Can someone please help me out with this? I'm using Tiger and can't get my files to dowload faster then 20kb a second. I can download 3mb a second any where else... so what's the problem?

What's the average download spead for someone on a cable connection?

Also, when I try to preview on the the .avi files that I'm trying to download, I just get a white quicktime screen. I can push play and watch the marker move but thing happens.

Lastly, when I click on the Navigation pulldown... both "Connections" and "console" are grayed out. Why?
