How long after you open LW does it crash? Do you do any searches after you open LW?

How much RAM & how much spare space on your OSX partition/HDD do you have?

Do you run LW from the OSX applications folder or from a different partition or HDD?

Before you open LW, go to Utilities folder & open Activity Monitor. Keep track of how much ram, cpu & VM (Virtual Memory) LW uses as you do different things with LW. Tell us if you see VM increase dramatically after doing a search.
