Pay attention to the info about routers & UPnP. If your router uses UPnP make sure it's enabled within the device & also within LW (tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Tick 'use UPnP', apply)

What's your set up:

LW & Java version (Help > about LW & it'll tell you)
ISP
Modem/router brand & model number
Connection type (dial-up, ADSL etc)
Where you conect from (home, work etc)
Firewall you're using
Is this your first try at using LW?
Are you sharing your connection with other computers?
