im also new to limewire i just went right to limewire pro so i dont know the con.. or the pos to ether but you can got to limewire site. if you go to the as if you'r where down load limewire pro it sould have comparasoms to each of them. one thing i know you get with pro is turbo charged connection i dont know if it is faster but it sonds good
