LW is open source which also means anybody can put together their own version & variations & use it. Unfortunately, some of these have used them for scam versions. 360share, etomi & Acquisition are examples of these. Who abuse the open source protocol & then sell it to whoever will buy it. These people close their source so it's not open source. Even though they ripped 99.5% of the programming off LW.

But then there's just blatent scam sites who charge people money & then direct them to the LW basic (free) version downld page.
