Have you considered the problem might be a combination of things. Your ISP shaping your bandwidth whilst you're using p2p (they use special programs that detect p2p programs & often target one program in particular for shaping or stopping from connecting.)
Some programs run better on some systems than others. Perhaps that's true for your system. So if you'd like a gnutella alternative (not miserly or leeching programs like Raza when it runs in multiple network mode), the how about these 2: 1.
