Re: minimizing download success Quote: Originally posted by vanish Hi everyone,
Unlike everyone in this forum, I want to minimize download success and search results and here is why:
I have limewire installed in my Windows XP Home machine and I'm trying to control or limit the search results and download sources because my teenager brother is downloading huge movie files and is eating up from my limited internet access that has only 3GB download quota per month. I don't want to use the options menu in Limewire to limit search results because my brother can change them back. I also don't want to block the port completely using router's configurations because then he'll be suspicious and try to fix it.
Is there a way to handle this smartly since I don't want stop all the downloads, but instead decrease download sources and search results. Can I do it by configuring router or Windows XP settings so that my brother doesn't find out I changed settings? FYI: I'm using norton internet security as a firewall. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks. | I have a simple suggestion; Smack the Mess Out of Your Brother, and Tell Him To Respect Your Limitations, Unless He Paying For The Service !!! |
