Just a simple answer is, probably
no because you said your only getting 10k/sec with basic, buying Pro isn't going to make your d/ls go any faster

Speeds aren't capped on Limewire Basic(the free one). The Pro version connects to more hosts(10 instead of 8) so the potential for faster d/l speeds is there but remember d/l speed depends on several different things, like your connection speed(dialup, dsl, cable, ect) the speed of the sources your d/ling from, available bandwidth(yours and thiers), the quality of the connection, how you have LW setup, wether your isp filters, shapes or blocks p2p, ect.
