hmm, the java update that I installed yesterday was the J2SE 5.0 release 3, but is the J2SE 5.0 release 1 a newer/better/more compatible with LW edition? I'll try the release one as LW is not working. I kept my quicktime to version 7.0.0 so that I don't have to buy a third quicktime pro key.
It's funny now that I think about it that I didn't mention that I had quicktime 7.0.0 even though I had seen the "quicktime bug stops opening" thread.
