I have Windows XP SP2, Limewire Pro 4.10.5, Java 1.5.0_06. I use as firewall Mc Afee Firewall Plus.
I was happily working with L/W for the past month, but since two days no connection. When I start Limewire, it remains on starting connection. No Search, No downloads work. I read almost all the posts possible. I did the test
http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ it is returning your test worked. I have deleted all the limewire folders on my PC and re-install Limewire, still the same. I also Deleted the folder in application data, and tried still the same.
I Live in a small country next to Africa, called Mauritius. My ISP (Using Wimax), assured me that they are not blocking the Gnutella Communications. Moreover my friends who are on the same network do not have the same problem as me, so it is definetly not my ISP.
The yesterday evening I noticed something on My Firewall which monitors the connection. I checked and found that Limewire is not accessing the internet, but only accessing my PC through 127.0.0.1 and port 1291. Is this normal?
If this is normal who will then connect to the internet?
I think the problem occured after Java Automatically updated itself, or my firewall automatically updated (Both occured in the same day). I have added a picture of the firewall traffic monitor.

Can someone help me please. What should I do to get my limewire working again.
