It just means that you haven't done enough posts to have 'Member' status. I think it's about 30 post if I remember correctly. When you post enough, you can have any rating you want.
I think they should change 'Junior Member' to 'New Member' the former makes everyone sound like a bunch of kids.
Also, I don't like 'Senior Member' I prefer 'Phlox Sniffer' It's my favourite flower, so that's what I changed my status to
