Easy to look at the Sticky at the top of this section called Major Topics for Open Discussion, as it has links to the other main stickies around the forum. You'll find discussions about autogenerated spam, etc. Google Overpeer to get an idea of the type of organisations that are sponsored to do this. Also check the Virus sticky. ie: basically stay away from files less than 1 MB (1,000 KB) is size. Use your junk filter to rid of these obvious sized files. The junk filter is a dynamic learning filter so it takes time to train it.
