ive just looked at www.Doom9.net but it all seems abit aurgh!!! which means i don't want to d/load somthing that wont help me.
All i need is somthing to change say avi,wmv etc so that i can play them on my DVD player which is not multi region (2-uk)
would i need the AVI editing tool or the mpeg1/2 encoders?

please help as you may have guest i'm crap at this!!!!!
