There is a little difference between segmented downloads from multiple hosts(what Xolox does or download manager like GetRight) and Swarming.
Segmented downloads means you can download simultaneous multiple parts of a file (to increase download speed). Swarming means the same + distributing small file partials over the network (to increase availability, download bandwith for others, balance load etc).
